Compact track loader undercarriage maintenance and repair tips

MWE’s very own Eric Hartzler was a contributor in this month’s Associated Construction Publications (acppubs.com) focus on undercarriages. As an industry expert, Hartzler wrote about CTL undercarriage issues, how to identify them and when to make a repair. He also provided advice on how to get the best wear out of your CTL’s tracks and when you should replace them.
As Hartzler says in the article “Maintaining a Compact Track Loader’s Undercarriage and Track” (midwestcontractor./trends/maintaining-a-compact-track-loaders-undercarriage-and-tracks/), “No one likes having to invest in maintenance, repair and replacing worn out components, but it’s the part of the job that will keep your equipment working longer and earning you money. So, make undercarriage routine inspections part of your work week, replace components and tracks when you need to. If you take care of your compact track loader, it will take care of you.”
