Consistent Quality Rubber Track Manufacturing Design

Rubber Track Design

A: Continuous Steel Cords are wrapped tightly within to optimize our rubber tracks' strength, enhancing your rubber tracks' service life.

B: Solid Steel Links run the width of our rubber tracks to help displace your machine load evenly across the ground and to increase the overall strength of your rubber track.

C: Steel Guide Wings integrated within your steel links permits your sprocket and rollers to travel easily along the track without any worries of “jumping track” and roller or sprocket damage.

D: Virgin Rubber (non-recycled) all-natural rubber guarantees the longest service life out of your new rubber tracks.  And with dozens of track patterns available, you can rest assured you're equipped with the right rubber track to operate your machine regardless of the application.

How to Measure Your Rubber Tracks

To check for the size of your existing rubber track you will need to see if the size is stamped into the rubber (on the inside on the track, normally towards the outer edge). If you cannot find a track size stamped into the rubber then you can take three simple measurements that will determine which replacement track you need.

A. Measure the width of the track in millimeters or we can do the conversions for you. (1 inch = 25.4 millimeters)

B. Measure the distance from the top of the center of one link (metal piece that engages with the sprocket on the track) to the top of the center of the next link (in millimeters or we can do the conversions for you).  This distance is known as the pitch of the track.

C. Count the total number of links (also called metal pieces or lugs) inside of the track.

The measurement of a track is Width x Pitch x Links.

If needed we can email or fax a track spec sheet for you to reference while gathering your measurement information.

Interchangeable Track Designs

Interchangeable guide type replacement tracks were originally designed for use on equipment with undercarriages designed for steel tracks but now most can interchange with rubber.  Interchangeable type rubber tracks have pitch measurements (this is the distance from the center of one metal link to the center of the next metal link) of 47, 48, 48.5, 60, 52.5, 53, 54, 54.5, 55, 55.5, 56, 71, 72, 72.5, 75.5, 76, 81, 83.5, 92, 96 millimeters.

Conventional Track Designs

Conventional guide type replacement tracks are designed for use on equipment with undercarriages designed for rubber tracks.  Conventional type tracks have pitch measurements (this is the distance from the center of one metal link to the center of the next metal link) of 60, 72, 84, 86, 87, 90, 100, 125 and 150 millimeters.

Rubber Track Tread Patterns and OEM Track Sizes

A wide range of track designs and track patterns are available for specific machine applications and working conditions. Ask one of our professional sales associates which patterns are available for your machine. Most of our common tread patterns can be found on both our Excavator Tracks and CTL Tracks page.
